Thank you for your interest in becoming a Lil Pumpkins Publishing author. We publish children's stories — picture books, beginning readers, and chapter books — in all genres for ages baby to tween with particular focus on stories with a moral and good messages. We do not publish board books at this time.
When submissions are open, potential authors can send a query letter and attach either a manuscript (text-only Word document) or 30-to-40-page PDF dummy-sketch in spread layouts when including text and art.
Your query must contain the following:
We'll review your work as quickly as possible; however, due to the high volume of submissions, it could take us 1-3 months to respond. Please understand that we aren't in a position to give updates on your submissions. Please do not send more than 1 submission per person within a 3-month period. Please email us if you have received an offer for your book and would like to rescind your submission.
